Every crosswalk has a countdown until the light changes. As a pedestrian, I have to say...I LOVE THIS. We need to implement this.

They have those in Winnipeg and Calgary... .and Cairo (prove me wrong!)
I think that they have those somewhere in Saskatchewan as well. . . but I can not remember which place off the top of my head. I think Brooke knows, maybe. You could ask her if you were really interested!
I especially remember them from when I was in Banff I think- AMAZING yes, I have to agree with you :)
