They don't post their elevator paperwork in the elevator. They just post a sign with directions to the location of the paperwork.
At first, I thought it was just the shittiness of my first hotel - but it's the same thing in the swanky hotel.
FREAKY! I wonder how many guests go track down the "engineering room" to see it. I almost want to...

Elevator paperwork? What on earth is that? We have paperfree lifts in the UK....
*shrugs*
The paperwork that says that the elevator has been approved and is in working condition, etc, etc. You know, the stuff that makes you feel confident that the elevator won't plunge you to your death.
Wow! We have NOTHING like that in the UK! When you get in a lift you presume that the company that own it are up to date with their safety checks and insurance! lol! England would soooooo freak you out honey!
xxx
I hate elevators, I can not imgaine getting in one and NOT reading the paperwork ever! wow, scarry business Shanna. . . have you gone on a paperwork hunt yet?!
Hmm, odd, in Boston all the elevators had certificates of inspection displayed. None of this "Please refer to the paperwork proving this is not a giant Faraday cage of DOOM located on the elevator pulleys down in the lower basement; go down the ominous hallway, take a left at the steam pipes, squeeze past the furnace and open the securely locked electrical closet to find it." ;)
